You will find Daniel Long's studio at the back of the east tent of the Arizona Fine Art EXPO. You have to seek him out; as on a beautiful Arizona winter's day he can be found working on a piece in the garden. It is captivating to watch him paint, as he wields his varied mediums over his canvas.
"Through painting, I want to give expression to my emotional experience of nature. Like some impressionist or cubist painters, I am more interested in capturing personal encounters with nature rather than merely representing it. I think that realism in art shows us a conscious look at reality and nature, as we would expect to see it." States Daniel.
